Overnight Oats and Chia Seeds

Good Morning! Time to rise and shine with this yummy overnight oat and chia breakfast.

I’ve posted this recipe before and it’s such a good one that it’s worth re-sharing. This is a great way to get protein, fibre and healthy fat into your day. And remember protein is essential at breakfast to jump start your metabolism, balance blood sugar and keep your energy going (you won’t be tempted to reach for a cookie in the staff room). 


The night before (so I did this last night and it takes literally 5 minutes):
1 cup organic oats
2 cups almond milk
1/4 cup of chia seeds
1 tbsp cinnamon

Stir to combined. Cover and refrigerate overnight. In the morning it can be reheated in a saucepan with some additional almond milk or served cold. Top with your favourite berries, nuts, coconut flakes, and the best part maple syrup! My Capri ate half my bowl.
